Stacey was born in the Midwest in 1983. She lived most of her young childhood in Minnesota, then moved with her family to Iowa where she later graduated high school. When she was 18 she moved to Maine to go to college at the University of Southern Maine. Her major was a Bachelor's of Fine Arts with a Concentration in Art Education. Stacey graduated with her BFA in 2008 and is currently looking for work as an art teacher.

Her other passion is storytelling and graphic novels. She is currently working on a project entitled Harbingers and has the first book written. It is her dream to become a graphic novelist and make a living off of that (but then again, who doesn't dream of that?).

Currently, Stacey lives in South Portland, Maine - with her husband Adam, and their chihuahua Mini.
